This position supports our team of web software engineers and designers to define businesses and technical strategies for our e-commerce websites, applications, and content.  This position helps design, implement, test, monitor, evaluate, and improve web-based solutions as well as manage day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

• Define the user experience for our e-commerce websites and online applications using industry best practices and your own creativity.
• Incorporate analytics and customer feedback and apply them intelligently into interactive design solutions that optimize existing features and functionality while measuring the impact of design changes.
• Create engaging visual design that embodies our site strategies, user experience, and enhances brand appeal.
• Produce design artifacts for project deliverables such as annotated mock-ups, wireframes, user interface elements, and interaction workflows.
• Bring inspired ideas and prototypes into a collaborative team environment of managers, developers, designers, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience designing and developing interactive UI's.  Preferably with an e-commerce environment.
• Working knowledge of web client technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript, as well as experience with PHP.
• Strong understanding of user experience best practices.  Be comfortable with the big picture as well as the pixel-level details.
• Ability to solve problems - not just the ability to make things pretty.
• Experience building prototypes.
• Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate between departments and thrive in a team-based environment with multiple stakeholders.
• The work ethic and personality that thrives in a fast-paced culture with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Must pass all background checks and random drug screenings.

• Full-time, 40 hours per week. Starting salary DOE with full benefits.
